There are so many ways to get involved in Tide of Light. You can participate in one of many activities that take place through the year and on the night because without volunteers we wouldn’t have an event. This is your event run by people like you.

Hello you Lovely People - despite a very inconvenient storm heading our way - we have been busy at Tide of Light HQ reorganising activities for tomorrow.
Thankfully WorthingTheatres have relocated us to the bigger Assembly Halls and there will be music and crafting and a giant lantern exhibition for all to enjoy.
2pm Start and a 7pm finish and in between that we have Dan Budd as Robbie Williams, Rock Choir, Northbrook City Met College plus the very famous Worthing Waggle.
This will be a warm and snug afternoon inside away from the rain - we have crafting activities making lovely lanterns at 3pm and 5pm (book here http://ow.ly/z3Oc50wZvqS ) and all our giant lanterns will be on display. Come along for this free family festival and celebrate with everyone from the community who has been working hard on their lanterns.

Feeling Hungry? - Look at these gorgeous offerings! You're not going to starve at Tide of Light this year. Our Street Food in Beach House Grounds has all the great and the good including cairovan Tiger Eats Carrot Crocus Paella and ThaiAngle plus lots more delicious hot food. Food is open from 4pm so come on down and enjoy some delicious food to munch on while watching the parade and darkrun.

We've got places left at the Lantern Making at the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 3pm and 5pm. Adults go free and all kit is included for the children's lantern. Only 6 sleeps to go until Tide of Light - Worthing's FREE Autumn Festival. If you've not been before here's what to expect:
Tide of Light is a bonkers but safe and inclusive family friendly afternoon and evening festival, including our handmade parade and darkrun event.
The Festival is free to attend making it a perfect opportunity to try different bits of the day. The celebrations hinge around our parade to which everyone is invited, and where our amazing community groups can showcase their giant lanterns. Then everyone is invited to celebrate at the Festival grounds at Beach House Grounds, next to Splashpoint.
Here's more of our lineup: *Lantern Making* at Worthing Pavilion Theatre 3pm and 5pm - to make your beautiful lanterns for the family parade later in the evening. Tide of Light

Did you know of the 26m tonnes of waste produced in the UK, 12m tonnes are recycled, and 14m tonnes are sent to landfill sites. This gives us an average recycling rate of 45%. We want to increase this!

Our workshops seek to educate children about recycling, so they can grow up in a healthy world. Have a look at our Instagram to see what we get up to! ♻️💚🌍
