Hello you Lovely People – despite a very inconvenient storm heading our way – we have been busy at Tide of Light HQ reorganising activities for tomorrow. Thankfully @WorthingTheatres have relocated us to the bigger Assembly Halls and there will be music and crafting and a giant lantern exhibition for all to enjoy. 2pm Start and a 7pm finish and in between that we have Dan Budd as Robbie Williams, Rock Choir, Northbrook City Met College plus the very famous Worthing Waggle. This will be a warm and snug afternoon inside away from the rain – we have crafting activities making lovely lanterns at 3pm and 5pm and all our giant lanterns will be on display. Come along for this free family festival and celebrate with everyone from the community who has been working hard on their lanterns. See you Saturday 2pm onwards at The Assembly Halls

The whole family is in for a treat with a full on party vibe on the night of Tide of Light thanks to TotRockin’Beats

Whilst the lantern parade starts at 6pm on Sunday 5th November, the party starts two hours prior at the Pavilion thanks to TotRockin’Beats! This official warm up event is two hours of family-friendly fun to get little ones up and moving and in the festival spirit.

Billed as a ‘marvellous mash-up of entertainment’, there will be proper DJs (playing a mix of funk, soul, hip-hop, indie and dance classics), as well as a huge soft play area, crafting, face painting, lego, Bee-fit Fun Fitness, a chill out zone, licensed bar and food, and a mass exit to join the parade at 6pm. There really is something for all the family in this afternoon of fun.

TotRockin’Beats aims to put families on the dance floor, and babysitters out of business, and it’s the perfect party to set you up for a dazzling firework festival. Tickets are just £6, include all the entertainment, and non-walkers are free! Find out more about the event and grab your tickets here.
